Video production awards: lovely stuff Bobbin has won over the years.

Introduction.

I’d be a horrid lier if I said that awards don’t feel good. Everyone likes a bit of recognition now and then, and we’re no different. At Bobbin, we’re always pushing to make standout video content that actually does something – whether that’s telling a school’s story in a way that resonates, or helping brands get months of video content from a single shoot. Turns out, a few people have noticed.

Over the years, we’ve picked up some shiny bits of praise that we’re properly proud of. These awards reflect not just the creativity and effort of our team, but the trust of the brilliant clients who keep us busy making Unlimited Video. Here’s a quick round-up of the awards we’ve won, what they’re all about, and the work that got us there.

“Most Innovative Video Content Creation Company” – Media Innovator Awards.

The Media Innovator Awards celebrate businesses reshaping the media landscape through creativity, originality and adaptability. Bobbin picked up the title of Most Innovative Video Content Creation Company, and it’s one we wear with pride. Innovation has always been baked into what we do – from our Unlimited Video model to the way we hand over 200-300 high-quality clips after every Content Day as part of our Footage Libraries. We’re not just turning up, filming a few nice shots and calling it a day. We’re giving marketing teams real, practical tools to make unlimited, on-brand content.

“Best Nursery/Pre-School School Story” – School Stories Awards 2024.

The School Stories Awards were created to spotlight schools and storytellers bringing education to life on screen. In 2024, Bobbin won Best Nursery/Pre-School School Story for our video for a brilliant early years setting. The piece is a warm, heartfelt look into the day-to-day magic of nursery life, and you can watch it here on Vimeo.

What made it special? Real kids, real moments, real joy. No over-staging, no stock footage. Just a natural window into a place where tiny people are thriving – and where parents can imagine their own child fitting in.

“Best Boarding Story” – School Stories Awards 2025.

We were back at the School Stories Awards in 2025, this time picking up Best Boarding Story. This one’s all about showing the human side of boarding school life – a tricky subject to get right. The goal was to show how boarding can be a safe, supportive and genuinely exciting option for the right family.

The award is lovely, but what matters more is what the school said after the launch: applications went up, and families specifically mentioned the video when visiting. That’s what good video production should do – connect emotionally and help people take the next step.

“Video Content Creation Agency of the Year” – UK Enterprise Awards 2023.

The UK Enterprise Awards recognise excellence across a wide range of industries, focusing on small to medium-sized businesses delivering big results. Organised by SME News, the awards are built on peer recognition and expert evaluation of growth, innovation and customer satisfaction.

In 2023, Bobbin was named Video Content Creation Agency of the Year. That’s a big one for us, because it’s about the whole picture – not just flashy edits or clever scripts.
